Thomas is four months old now! So hard to believe, the time has gone by so quickly! He had his four month checkup today and was 25 inches long and 13 pounds 12 ounces. He is such a big boy compared to the tiny baby we brought home four months ago!
He has officially found his thumb now, and prefers it above his pacifier. We keep socks on his hands quite a bit trying to discourage that habit, but he can get the socks off if he really wants to. He sleeps all night most of the time now and is so happy to see us in the morning, all smiles and giggles.
Bath time now is in the big bath tub because he loves to 'float' with my hand holding his head out of the water while he kicks his feet and splashes his hands in the water.
He has rolled from both back to tummy and tummy to back on a flat surface, but doesn't do it consistently. He wants more than anything to walk, and when we help him balance he moves his feet trying to imitate steps. We know he is a ways away from actually walking, but it is precious to watch! He has no desire to crawl or sit up, he wants to be a big guy and walk and talk!
He loves to listen to music or be read to, and he loves nothing more than for people to talk to him and smile at him!!
