Update!

Thomas is such a comical little boy!  Not only is he on the go from the minute he wakes up until he finally collapses at bed time, but he is also active at night.  He not only talks in his sleep, but he also laughs.  Many nights we wake up to the sound of him cracking up.  When we check on him (which isn’t hard, because he always makes his way to the middle of our bed at some point in the night) he is sound asleep.
He cracks jokes, and then tells us ‘I funny’ or if we say something that tickles him he giggles and tells us ‘you funny’.
He has tons of cute little sayings like dirty is ‘dee-doe’ and ice is ‘ike’.  He constantly wants to know where people are, but asks “Where ----- go?” 
When we ask him how many there are of something he used to say ‘Un, ooh, ee, or…TWO’.  No matter how many there was, the answer was always two.  Now his answer is either two or if there is more than two of something he tells us that there is ‘plenty’. 
He wants to pick out his own clothes, and almost always wants to wear something with Thomas the Train, Elmo, frogs or his bunny shirt.  Once he has decided what he wants to wear, almost nothing will talk him out of it!
He wakes up asking to go outside, and even when it is dark outside begs to go back out and play.  He absolutely loves the riding lawn mower, and will sit with Ronnie the entire time he is mowing.  He refuses to get down, and even when the mowing is done he wants to ride it still.  When it is off, he’ll climb up on it and tell me “I go bye-bye.”  When we ask him where he normally tells me “I go see Big Pa”. 
One night, after seeing some frogs outside, he kept insisting on going back out there to check on the frogs.  When I finally told him that the frogs had to go home to eat, he wanted to know what they were going to eat.  He refused to believe that frogs ate bugs, and kept telling me ‘Ewww, no bug.  Frog no eat bugs’.  I finally had to find some YouTube videos of frogs eating bugs so that he would believe me!
He loves being a big brother, and is constantly checking on Tyler.  The other day when one of his cousins was touch him Thomas ran up to her crying ‘Leave brudder alone.  He’s small!’

Every day is a new adventure, and we love it!

Thomas is a big brother!!!

Baby brother Tyler was born May 2^nd, 2011.

Thomas has been asking for a baby for a while now, and was so excited when we got to bring Tyler home!  If Tyler is napping Thomas wants to go check on him to make sure that he is okay.  He crouches down next to him and talks to him, and wants him to be included in everything, even the things he isn’t big enough for yet!  He is already an amazing big brother, and I know these boys are going to have a blast growing up together!
