Thomas liked the snow for about fifteen minutes! :)

We are working on potty training, and he is doing great!

He loves wearing hoodies now...I can hardly make him take them off!  This one is his favorite...he loves Thomas the Train! :)

He loves stealing my fuzzy socks!

Thomas is learning about counting and will occasionally make it up to eight or nine.  For the most part though, everything is 'two'.  Anytime there is multiple items he points them out saying 'two, two!' regardless of how many there actually are.  He still loves cars, books, puzzles, balls and 'bloons'.  One of his favorite past times is rubbing the balloons on his head and sticking them to the wall unless he can con someone into putting them on the ceiling for him.  He also loves for me to make up stories at bedtime and constantly asks for more.  He still loves Elmo, but really likes Barney and Thomas the Train, too.  When he watches them he really wants us to sit down with him and if he realizes that you aren't actually watching the show will grab your chin and turn it so that you are looking at the television.  When we actually get to watch a movie of our picking he always cracks up at any fight scenes...and usually cheers for the bad guy.  It's hysterical!  He's completely figured out every child proofing gadget we have, and when he can't get the door knob covers to work right, he just pops them off.  Lucky for us he doesn't choose to do that too often!

Christmas

Thomas had so much fun with his stocking!  We filled it completely with balls and packages of m&m's and everytime he pulled something out he would yell 'A ball!' or 'A M!' at the top of his lungs!

He got really good at opening presents...in fact, now he thinks he needs to open every present that he sees, regardless of who it belongs to!

We had his four cousins over for a sleepover during Christmas break...he sure does love having all of them over here!

Decorating the tree!

Thomas loved decorating the tree ALMOST as much as he loved taking everything off over and over again! :)

November 2011...Thomas turns two!

It's hard to believe that he is already two!  He is getting so big!  He loves Sesame Street (especially Elmo!) and was super excited when we brought home an Elmo birthday cake!  At his two year appointment he was 35 and 3/4 inches tall, and on target in every area.  He has so many words now, and loves to learn new ones.  Several times a day he'll grab one of our hands and lead us around pointing out things so that we will tell him the word and he can repeat it.
