Thomas is the most incredible little boy! He is growing so fast and learning so many different things all the time. His vocabulary gets bigger every day, and he is speaking in pretty long sentences now when he wants to, especially when we are at home.
When you ask him if he wants something, instead of saying ‘yes’ he says ‘I do’, which I absolutely love! His other phrase that cracks me up is ‘I done’.
He is a very independent kiddo in a lot of ways, and is always trying to get things himself. He likes to get his own water out of the refrigerator door, and if he doesn’t have a cup within reach he’ll climb up on the bathroom counter and drink from the faucet.
He loves having a variety of drinks, in fact, he insists on it. In the pictures where he has three cups it is because he had to have his milk, his water, and juice, pop, or tea.
We spend the majority of our day outside whenever possible. The back yard is filled with balls, trucks, his tricycle and a variety of other toys, but he also loves jumping on the trampoline, playing with the dogs, and digging in the dirt. Normally by the time we come in for the night he is covered in head to toe in dirt.
He also loves going places, especially when there are ‘friends’ involved. If we haven’t gone somewhere fun in a little while, he’ll tell you: “Go bye-bye? I play friends.” He also loves going to see his grandparents.
We went to the circus for the first time in March, and he loved the elephants (he rode one!), but by the time the show actually started, he was already done. As long as we were moving around he thought it was great, but he can’t stand to sit still.
He still loves playing with balls, and not only does he already have a great little arm, but he’s getting pretty good with his T-ball set. He can hit the fisher price version of the ball pretty far, so we are going to start him on the actual T-ball equipment pretty soon. He also is great at kicking around a soccer ball, and he loves throwing the tennis balls for the dogs to chase.
He runs from the minute he steps out of bed until he finally collapses for cuddle time in the evening, and is an absolute blast! We are aware every day of how blessed we are to have him for our son!
