Baptism

Thomas was baptized on August 16th at St. Pauls Catholic Church by Deacon LaChance. Natalie and Andy are his Godparents.

Cousins

We had a sleepover with all of his cousins this month, here are a few pics from that!

Eight and Nine Months

He loves his ball crawl, and just playing in general.

The last two months have gone by in a blur! Thomas has grown so much and changed so much it is hard to keep up with everything!

He went from army crawling and rolling to crawling, pulling up and climbing within a matter of days! Ronnie went in one day to get him up from his nap and found him standing up in his crib trying to get a foot hold to climb out. A few days later I saw him using a pillow to try to climb onto the window sill!

His two bottom teeth came in at the same time, and his top ones are going to pop through any day now.

On his nine month checkup he was 29 inches long and weighed 18.4 pounds. He has a great appetite, as long as you aren't trying to feed him baby food. He eats almost everything that we eat, only he eats five or six times a day.

Most of the time he wants to be in his walker, and he does laps through the house with it, following us around to see what we are doing or trying to get into everything he can.

He laughs and smiles most of the time, and loves it when you laugh with him, so if he does something that makes someone crack up then he will do it over and over again as long as we keep laughing. We love to 'play' blocks with him, which really means that we build towers and he crawls around knocking them over, laughing the whole time. He also has a mini ball crawl that he loves climbing in and out of, throwing the balls around. He loves being outside, and has a blast in the swimming pool. He splashes as hard as he can, and doesn't even mind that most of it ends up in his face.

He has become very aware of everything around him, looking up at us to make sure that things are okay, and letting us know when he is happy AND when he isn't getting what he wants. He is so busy constantly that we have to almost pin him down to change his diaper or get him to finish a bottle, he would rather be off chasing the cat around or trying to grab the cell phone or the remote control.
